Mending FAQ's
What types of fabric can you fix?

We can fix woven fabrics, including but not limited to: cotton, viscose, denim, linen.

We are not able to fix: Any stretch materials such as Jersey. We also can't repair leather, silks or chiffons.
What kinds of mending can you do? How do I know what type of mend I have?

Do you have a price guide?

Our prices are allocated to each specific mending option and the size of the mend. These are displayed and explained under each mending item.
What are your lead times? When/ how will I get my item back?

We aim to fix and post your item back to you within 7-10 days of receipt.
Once we have received it you will receive an email notification, and another notification when the item has been posted back to you with tracking information.

In some cases, mends may take longer. When we receive your item, if we think this will take longer than the expected time, we will let you know straight away.

We will post your item back as first class signed for, with the address provided you use at the check out. If your return address is different to when you placed the order, please update the the return address in your order form.
How do I post my garment to you?

Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email confirmation including postal instructions.

We will let you know once we have received it.

Please include your name & order number with your parcel, and your return postal address.
Can I drop off my garment rather than posting it?

Absolutely. All we ask is that you place an order first on our ordering page. Please print your order confirmation email and bring it with you if you can, or make a note of your order number. We are able to accept drop-offs between the hours of 10.30am - 4.00pm Monday - Friday.
What happens if I order the wrong type of mend?

Our Quality Assurance process includes an assessment of the initial work to be carried out. If the order details are incorrect, you will receive an email from us, with amended payment instructions. Once the amended order has been confirmed, we will begin work on your item.
What do I do if I’m not happy with my mend?

We’re sorry that you haven’t received your mend as expected. For invisible mends we aim to match the original garment structure as closely as possible however this is dependent on the level of initial damage to the fabric. Please get in touch via our feedback form to let us know the issue.
